The Rose of the Lake is the first and only Bed and Breakfast in Grand Rivers, Kentucky's Resort Village. Grand Rivers is a peninsula bounded on the east by Lake Barkley, the west bounded by Kentucky Lake, and the south bounded by the canal that connects the two lakes. Land Between the Lakes, the national recreation area is just over the canal.
The guest rooms are all named for a delicate Rose and the decor is splashed with the colors of that Rose. Each morning of your stay the kitchen will be filled with the aromas of the wonderful dishes being prepared for your breakfast. Make yourself comfortable in our dining room and enjoy being served a relaxed home-made breakfast while enjoying warm conversations with your hosts and other guests.

My friend and I took a mom and kids trip to the area. It was our first visit to Rose of the Lakes Bed and Breakfast - but not our last! The breakfast was phenomenal!! It was delicious and wide variety of options from breakfast basics to unique items. I loved the pineapple casserole and the bread pudding with bourbon sauce.

Awesome stay and warm hospitality from everyone at the b&b. Thank you to Chip and Michael Lee for being such wonderful hosts, and thanks to Matthew, Marshall, and the whole team too. We had such a great time, pool was super relaxing, and the complimentary golf carts were great.

This was by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at!! The owners, staff and the entire town were awesome . They made us feel like we were at home. It is clean, very peaceful , quiet and fun. The breakfast fixed by Patsy and Edna was outstanding!!!!! The most relaxing weekend I have had in a long time. Will definitely go back!

This place is great. However, the breakfast was easily the best I've ever had. So, many unique things I have never tried that were simply exquisite, and the presentation of the food was flawless. My favorite by far was the chocolate gravy. It would be a privilege to eat here again one day. Compliments to the Chef!

Perfect place to stay...very clean, friendly, and the best breakfast ever! The pool was lovely, and the grandkids enjoyed swimming. It's a golf cart ride away from town, and close to the very picturesque Kentucky Lake.
