BBQ Nachos With Patti's BBQ Sauce

Happy Tuesday folks. I hope everyone was anxious to get back to work this morning. Ha. I hit that snooze button more than a couple times this morning. It was chilly and that blanket was feeling mighty good. But alas, reality was realized and the starting of the coffee pot had to happen. I made my momma her normal egg

sandwich and coffee. She is 96 and has eaten an egg sandwich for breakfast for as long as I can remember. I have noticed the

older people get the more they detest change. I myself cannot imagine eating the same thing for breakfast every day. I love my flavor variety. But the egg sandwich makes her happy. So, what

makes momma happy, makes me happy.

Do you know what else makes me happy? Springtime and cookouts. And cookouts need a great BBQ sauce. Patti’s has a most wonderful BBQ sauce. It’s unique, tangy, smoked flavor is

the ultimate in taste. Just ask any of our lucky guests that got to taste our BBQ sauce this weekend. We had a tasting event for it and the comments were all so very positive.

So today I am going to share a recipe with you that includes our BBQ sauce. I know I did a BBQ meatball sub recipe in the past. But there is so much you can do with BBQ sauce. One recipe is just not enough.

BBQ Nacho’s are one of my favorite meals. It is quick, easy and so satisfying. You can build them to suit your own tastes and tweak them until you have you favorite meal as well.

I use regular tortilla chips in this recipe. But talking about tweaking the recipe, I have used nacho and even ranch flavored Doritos and that extra flavor is a great change every now and then. I place my chips in individual plates or baskets, depending on whether I’m serving them inside or outside. With a squeeze bottle I squeeze on a generous portion of Patti’s BBQ Sauce, then a layer of pulled pork, more BBQ sauce, Sprinkle (heavily) with cheese, then chopped onion, black olives, diced tomatoes, sprinkle a little more cheese, throw on a few slices of fresh jalapeno and drizzle just a little more BBQ sauce. And dig in!! It’s a great meal by the pool, at the campsite or just a lovely night at home. I hope you enjoy this recipe and tweak it to make it your own.

Until Next Time,

Bev
